What are your fees?
Individual sessions: $120
Couples/Families: $180
Payment is due at the start of each session and is typically processed the morning of your appointment. Accepted payment methods include credit/debit card, cash, check, and Venmo. A limited sliding scale may be available based on income and time-slot availability.
Do you accept insurance?
Not yet. I only accept out-of-pocket payments at this time. I plan to accept some insurance plans in the future. I offer limited sliding scale rates to keep therapy accessible and affordable for all.
What is your cancellation policy?
48-Hour Cancellation Notice:
If you need to cancel your therapy session, please contact me at least 48 hours in advance. This allows me to offer the time slot to others who may be in need of therapy. Contact me at samrosenthaltherapy@gmail.com or call 929-249-2017.
Late Cancellations and No-shows:
Sessions canceled with less than 48 hours’ notice, or missed without notice, will be charged a $90 fee. If possible, I will offer a time to reschedule within the same week. If rescheduling is not possible, the missed session is still charged. If both the original and rescheduled sessions are missed, both will be billed.
How is therapy conducted?
I provide therapy virtually via HIPAA compliant audio/visual sessions. I plan to offer in-person session soon.
How frequently will we meet?
All sessions are 50 minutes and will be conducted weekly on the same day and time each week.
We will work together to find a time that fits with your schedule. Consistent weekly attendance is imperative for our therapeutic work and for your overall well-being.
How do I get started?
