What are your fees?

Individual sessions: $180

Couples/Family sessions: $220

Group sessions: $60

Accepted payment methods include credit/debit card, cash, check, and Venmo. I offer sliding scale rates to clients who qualify.

Do you accept insurance?

I am in-network with Aetna insurance plans for clients in New York and New Jersey and Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield insurance plans for clients in New York. I do not accept insurance for couples and family sessions.

What is your cancellation policy?

48-Hour Cancellation Notice:

If you need to cancel your therapy session, please contact me at least 48 hours in advance. Contact me at samrosenthaltherapy@gmail.com or call 929-249-2017.

Late Cancellations and No-shows:

Sessions cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice, or missed without notice, will be charged a $90 fee. If possible, I will offer a time to reschedule within the same week. If rescheduling is not possible, the missed session is still charged. If both the original and rescheduled sessions are missed, both will be billed.

How is therapy conducted?

I offer in-person and virtual therapy sessions. My office is located at 26 Court Street, Brooklyn, NY 11242, in Downtown Brooklyn and is accessible by most train lines including 2, 3, 4, 5, A, C, B, D, F, N, Q, R, G, and LIRR.

Where are you licensed?

I am a licensed therapist in New York and New Jersey.

How frequently will we meet?

All sessions are 50 minutes and will be conducted weekly on the same day and time each week. We will work together to find a time that fits with your schedule.

How do I get started?
